  • Order Execution and Management: For the completion of your transactions with us, communication regarding the confirmation of your measurements (as our products are handmade to order), and the improvement of our provided services.
  • Abandoned Cart Reminders: In the event that you enter your contact information (email) in the order completion form (checkout) but do not complete your purchase, we may send you automated emails to remind you and assist you in completing your purchase. This processing is based on the Legitimate Interest of our business to facilitate transactions. You retain the right to object to this processing and opt-out immediately from future reminders via the “Unsubscribe” link included in every such email.

Your data shall not be used by any third party, unless required by Law before the competent authorities or necessary for the execution of your order.

3. Data Disclosure to Third Parties (Order Execution)

For the completion and delivery of your order, BLACK DIAMOND transfers your absolutely necessary data to strategic partners:

  • Courier & Postal Companies: Delivery details (full name, address, telephone, email) are transferred to DHL Express (via the DHL Express Commerce platform) or to Hellenic Post (ELTA) for the issuance of the shipping voucher and the delivery of the parcel.
  • Payment Gateways: Payment details are processed exclusively by the payment providers of your choice (Stripe, Klarna, PayPal, or Piraeus Bank). BLACK DIAMOND does not store and does not have access to your card details.

4. Data Retention Period

Your personal data is retained only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Order data and corresponding tax records are retained for a period of up to ten (10) years, in accordance with applicable Greek tax legislation.
  • Data collected for communication and abandoned cart reminder purposes is retained for a maximum period of 30 days from the creation of the cart, unless you request its deletion (unsubscription) earlier.
